BRIEF ITINERARY
Day 1 – Arrival in Thessaloniki. Transfer by bus to the hotel in Veria. Visit to to the Jewish Quarter and Old Metropolis. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2 – Vergina. Visit to the New Museum, Palace and Church of Agios Dimitrios. In the afternoon presentation on ancient Greek painting. Dinner and overnight.
Day 3 – Vergina. Visit to the necropolis and the Museum of the Royal Tombs. In the afternoon practical painting workshop. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4 – Mieza. Visit Macedonian tombs, Theatre, Aristotle’s School. Workshop on ancient Greek sculpture in Naoussa with specialized sculptor. Transfer to hotel in Thessaloniki. Free afternoon in the city. Dinner and overnight.
Day 5 – Pella. Visit to site and museum en route visit to Agios Athanasios Macedonian tomb. Return to Thessaloniki. In the afternoon mosaic presentation and workshop in collaboration with mosaic artists. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6 – Dion. Visit to site and museum. Return to Thessaloniki. In the afternoon pottery workshop with specialized potter. Dinner and overnight.
Day 7 – Thessaloniki: Walking Tour on the City. Visit to antiquities at the metro Station in Venizelou, Rotunda and Arch of Galerius. Byzantine Museum. Farewell dinner and overnight.
Day 8 – Departure transfer to the airport.
